The Center is funded by corporations, foundations and individuals, offering (tax deductible) gifts for support of the Center and The Politics & Journalism Semester.

Providing special assistance is the Ethics and Excellence in Journalism Foundation of Oklahoma City.

Major donors over the years have included: The John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, which provided major support for six years, and an alum and her mother, who, in 2005, provided the largest single personal gift in the history of our program (they have asked not to be identified by name here.)
